New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
Be Part of New York’s Low Carbon Future
You're invited to the grand opening of Solara Apartments, a new multifamily development that is close to completion in Rotterdam, New York and to discuss low carbon economic development.
This is the second net zero multifamily development that developer, David Bruns, has established in the area. Advanced manufacturing and development projects like this create jobs, promote a stronger local economy, and make buildings more efficient, comfortable and resilient. The site is a ground-breaking luxury apartment community using state-of-the-art, eco-friendly renewable and energy efficient technologies. Built to net zero standards, and conceptually based on his earlier success, Net Zero Village, the completion of the Solara Apartments is another important step towards New York’s carbon-neutral future.
ICF Panels, LLC, a local manufacturer of super-efficient insulated concrete-formed panels will be on site discussing manufacturing and housing products in a low-carbon economy.
